I am a mom of 3. A 5 year old, a 3 year old and a baby. I am homeschooling because I want to, not because I think going to regular school is wrong. I have been homeschooling since I had my first baby. Sometimes I think my oldest is missing out on some of the things of "regular" school but I feel like the pluses outweigh the minuses. I have my masters degree in education and my k-12 multiple subject teaching credential. I long term-substituted kindergarten right after getting my credential. Then I taught high school and junior high Spanish for 8 years and right now I am working part time as a field supervisor, observing interns who are in the middle of getting their teaching credential.
